He started with a few software patents and two investors in 2004 - now he's the CEO of one of the most successful coputertechonological enterprises. Nolcorp's net worth ist 19,8 billion USD and therefore its the third largest and most successful Software & Electronics Business in the world, right after Apple and Microsoft. Nolcorp's been developing electronics like smartphones, pads and netbooks in the last few years and recently started research and developing of nanotechnologies. Nolan's very invested in his R&D department, but stays mostly out of Finances/Management. At first, they only talked about the copyright lawsuit between Nolcorp and a low level competing firm, since Padma was assigned to the case. But after a while they started to spend time together outside of work. Only as friends of course - not only had Nolan a hard time trusting anybody, but there was Padma's position at Nolcorp to consider. Could he date one of his employees? Nolan hesitated with trusting the brown-haired woman for bit, but eventually, he opened himself up to her.   And then he started to take her on real dates. Dinner at her favourite restaurant, Lunch at the beach, Coffee at the small, romantic Coffee-Shop around the corner, an evening at the fun fair. He felt like a teenager again, blushed a lot more than he ever did before and laughed as often as anyone could. It didn't take long for him to fall in love with her, the opposite happened - he fell hard and quick. He was ridiculously in love, on top of the world and he was happy.   For a long time, Padma was the only person he loved besides Emily. Nolan trusted Padma with his life, his past and his worries, he told her everything about himself and in turn got to know eveything about her. After one year, Padma moved in with Nolan and he knew - she was the one. He didn't even look twice at other guys or girls twice anymore - not that he really had after he met Padma. But he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He could already see their cosy house at the beach, the apartment in the city and the two kids they would have.   So he got a ring, looked for a more suitable apartment in a smaller city just outside of New York. He brought a place in Roseville for them, as a surprise. But just as he was about to propose to her on their three-year-anniversary, Padma died in a plane crash a few days earlier. Nolan was devastated and hasn't been in love ever since. They were a family, maybe not exactly normal, but who cared? The death of Nolan's mother changed everything - Ross was devastated and didn't know how to raise his genius son. He couldn't deal with his wives death, Nolan's own sorrow paired with tears over the bullying he received in school. So Ross started drinking. And with the drinking came the violence - he started to beat Nolan up, simply because the young boy reminded him so much of Elizabeth. After a while, it stopped being about her and he just drank and hit and yelled. Nolan fled to school, to Eton, to MIT - and just as he thought he'd left his father and the pain of his past behind, his father calls him. He's read about Nolan, how he started his own company, how he was successful and made a lot of money. Nolan ignored his fathers requests for money for a while, but when "Vogue US" mistakenly outed him as gay, he never heard from his father again. Ross Stradford died at the beginning of 2015, the alcohol finally taking it's toll. mother - Elizabeth Stradford neé Witherdale Nolan loved his mother above all. She sang him to sleep, taught him how to ride a bike and told him over and over that there was nothing wring with him, even if all the other kids in kindergarten laughed about him - he was special. He can still remember watching her bake or going to the beach with her, her long blonde hair flowing in the wind and a blinding smile directed at him. But Elizabeth died in a car crash when Nolan was barely six years old. A drunk driver hit her car, pushed her from the road and she crashed into a tree. Nolan was devastated, he couldn't comprehend losing his beloved mother. Even now, almost 25 years later, he still thinks about is mom from time to time, remembering all the good times and can't help but to miss her. aunt - Maria Witherdale His aunt Maria is the younger sister of his mother. She moved to the US in her early twenties and was the only family Nolan had for a while.
